Dover - The Town of Dover is an affluent suburban community surrounded by Needham, Wellesley, Westwood, Medfield, and Sherborn. It is approximately 15 square miles in size with a population of approximately 5000 residents. It is characterized as a rural community [one fully functional traffic light!] with parcels in excess of one acre in size. The roadways are lined with mature trees, open fields and stone walls rather than retail and commercial areas. The educational system is perennially rated in the top 10 state wide by Boston Magazine, please click on the link at the left of this page to see these rankings for all school systems state wide. While academics are a priority, youth sports are also very strongly supported by the community. For outdoor enthusiasts there are many nearby areas for hiking, mountain biking and recreational use such as Noanet Woodlands, Powisset Farm, Rocky Woods and many other open spaces managed by The Trustees of Reservations. Dover is readily accessible to nearby major routes [30 minute drive to Boston], commuter rail and retail/commercial areas. For more information on Dover, please click on button on the left.

Needham - The town of Needham is located directly adjacent to Route 95/128 and adjacent to Newton, Dedham, Westwood, Dover and Wellesley. While Dover is considered to be a smaller more rural community, Needham is approximately 13 square miles providing homes for 27,000 residents and has a considerable commercial and retail tax base. Most homes are set on 1/4 acre lots although there are areas of town along the western perimeter that are substantially larger. The school system is very strong and draws many potential buyers to the town, again, please refer to School Rankings button on left of this page. The commuter rail to Boston has 4 stops and plenty of parking.
